This unit is an introduction to Moodle for our Johnson School 5th graders. Students will look at the following topics in the Social Studies benchmarks for Civics and Government:

• Describe the basic form and function of a democratic government.
• Identify the rights, as expressed in the Bill of Rights, and responsibilities of a citizen.
• Explain due process and equal protection under the law.
